The X3 is the smaller 4x4 from BMW and with it's superb handling provides an enjoyable drive off-road aswell as it does on.
The petrol engines are a little too thirsty for the average wallet, we much prefer the greener diesel choice on the X3 giving you up to 43.5 miles to the gallon combined.

The original small off-roader.
To my knowledge the X3 is one of the first smaller off road vehicle on the market and in my opinion no-one has yet matched it, let alone surpassed it's style comfort and outstanding quality. It is the perfect 4x4 providing you with bags of room but not a massive fuel bill, a car worth investing in for a relaxing quality drive.
